IAF TRAININGThere will be a staged level of implementation. This began at the end of August in Berwickshire. We then move to Cheviot in February 2009.
It is proposed that the next stages are as follows: Tweeddale – May 2009 Teviot & Liddesdale – August 2009 Eildon – October 2009 If the implementation period runs according to plan all localities should be fully operational in the new process by January 2010. However it must be noted that these dates are provisional and are subject to change (i.e. the process may take longer) dependent upon the way in which the tools and processes are developed. Training will be provided to those involved at the start of each period of implementation. 3 different training sessions will take place: · ½ day – awareness raising training (for those who will not be actively participating but require to understand the process) · 1 day – all aspects of IAF (for all practitioners involved in the implementation) · ½ day – all aspects of the lead professional role (for all those who will be likely to take on the role of lead professional) Training dates for each locality will be published below at the start of each phase of implementation.
